This is going to be my first half marathon in over a year, so I’m taking the training slow. I’m still getting back into running, but I feel that I have a base, so now it’s time to ramp it up! Also, I have a crazy life schedule that is all over the place and varies week to week, so my long run day will alternate between Thursdays and Saturdays. I won’t be able to run at all on Mondays and Fridays, which is fine by me. I’m also trying to incorporate some HIIT training because it’s amazing and some strength training. Without further adieu, here it is!
I am not getting as much training as I probably should, but this is what is going to work for me and my schedule for the time being! I’m not concerned with time whatsoever, so this will work for that! If you are looking for a good training program, I like to use Hal Higdon or go to Sole Sports and they have online training programs.
