I haven’t posted in one week eeeek. Time honestly got away from me and I was really preoccupied with my pharmacology test that I took yesterday morning! On both Monday and Wednesday, I completely forgot until the day was over. Anyways, I passed the class with flying colors and now it’s OVER! A big sigh of relief and 100 pounds lifted from my shoulders. Without further adieu, here are the things that caught my eye this week.
Favorite wreath. This is so cute and is made by someone on Etsy. You can choose a different accent color and font for the letter (or whatever you want it to say). Etsy is like an online craft fair and there is virtually anything you could imagine that people will make for you. It’s a great site for parties and weddings:)
Favorite watch. I might have taste a little too young for my age, but I still love sparkles and colors. Hey, it would go with a lot of outfits!
Favorite throwback TV show – Sex and the City. That show was so good! I pulled out a few DVD’s a couple weeks ago to watch before bed and I got re-enticed into the show. I just don’t think it will ever get old. Can they please make more episodes? I know that’s never happening – just wishful thinking.
Favorite BBQ recipe – Hoisin Glazed BBQ Pork Ribs. These babies look like they would melt in your mouth. My neighbors cook BBQ like every night and every night I salivate. YUMMMMM.
Favorite breakfast – Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookie Pancakes. Speaking of salivating, these made me want to whip them up right this minute. Chocolate chip pancakes were hands down my favorite food when I was little, I haven’t had chocolate chips in pancakes in years and I think it’s time to break that mishap. They are also a slightly healthier version than what I used to eat and they are vegan and can be gluten-free as well.
Favorite doggie. I love when our family dogs tilt their heads when we are talking to them like they are trying so hard to understand… so cute:)
Favorite furniture piece. This is definitely bold, but I love it and think it could really brighten a dull room!
Favorite camping idea. Now, I will camp the rustic way. I have no problem being dirty and sleeping on the ground, but how nice does this actually look. This is the new modern way of camping. (P.S. the website this is linked to has pages and pages of really cool pictures).
Favorite hairstyle. I have tried and tried to make the “perfect” messy bun and I think I should just call it. I’m not talented in doing this myself, but nonetheless, I keep trying and love the way this looks.
Favorite part of summer – 4th of July. I love everything about it from the gatherings, the food, the outdoors, and the fireworks.
