USA Gymnastics

Like I said earlier, I spent all weekend studying for my pharmacology midterm today.  EEEEK.  I feel prepared, but there is always more to study when it comes to tests!  This was the setup for about 12 hours this weekend.

I also realized on Saturday as I was running 4 miles on the treadmill that the Visa US Championship for Gymnastics was on TV this weekend.  I haven’t mentioned my true love for watching gymnastics.  It’s definitely my absolute favorite thing to watch (yes, more than any TV show) and has been since I was a little girl.  I have both the 1992 and 1996 Olympics on VHS.  That tells you how long my obsession has been.  I never see it on TV anymore, so I was a happy girl.  I took a two hour study break on Sunday afternoon to watch the remainder of the event to see which girls made it to the Olympic Trials!

I’m rooting for this girl – Jordyn Wieber, who actually ended up winning the competition!

I can’t wait until the Olympic Trials on June 29 and July 1 to see the action all over again!  Nastia Liukin is also trying to make a comeback and will be competing to make the olympic team!

Question:

What is your favorite olympic sport?  I love them all….track and field, the marathon, diving, swimming, gymnastics, etc.

Do you watch gymnastics?
