Boston

When I got back from my lactation consultation, I looked at my text messages when I saw one from David that broke the news about the explosions in Boston.  Immediately, I was sad and horrified.

It’s all too often that bloggers are posting their condolences about senseless tragedies to innocent people.

On April 15, Boston was celebrating a holiday (Patriot’s Day) as well as the historical Boston marathon. ¬†Marathoners dream about someday running in this marathon and train ruthlessly for months to first qualify for this race with exceptionally difficult times needed and then to actually run in Boston. ¬†They expect a glorifying experience and instead this year, they get a horrifying one.

My heart goes out to everyone in Boston, including the marathoners, civilians, and the medical personnel and law enforcement.
