Top Five Friday Favorites

I am excited for this weekend!  We don’t have a whole lot on the agenda but it’s the weekend before my birthday and it’s THE SUPERBOWL!  I never thought I’d be this excited to watch the Superbowl, but since the Broncos are in it, I might as well be, huh?!  I love watching them.

With that said, here are my top five friday favorites.

The Broncos.  Since I’m a Chinese Medicine practitioner or acupuncturist as you might know it as, I thought I’d throw this one in!  I do believe in destiny:)

Favorite getaway.  I’m going to be honest and say that I could use a nice week on the beach full of relaxation and pampering.  I’m starting to feel a bit haggard right now!  This place looks like heaven.

Raw Cake Pops. Healthy cake pops, say what!?  These have no bad ingredients in them, no white sugar or flour and are completely raw.  This is the best news since cake pops were invented in the first place.

Healthy Singapore Noodles.  I’ve been on my Asian food kick again.  I love vermicelli combined with lots of fresh veggies, ginger, garlic and the Asian-y sauce that accompanies this dish.

Ski Soup Recipe with Italian SausageWe’ve been spoiled here the past couple of days with well above freezing temperatures, but it looks as if that’s about to change for the long haul (or the 10 day forecast), so this soup should be making an appearance in my house.  On really cold and snowy days, who doesn’t enjoy a nice bowl of hearty hot soup? I know we do!

That’s all I have for today.  I hope everyone has a good weekend and watches the Superbowl (cheering for the Broncos!).

Questions:

Is it freezing where you live?

Are you snowed in?

Are you watching the superbowl?

P.S. The Budweiser ad has already stolen my heart this year.

The Wonder Weeks – The World of Sequences

Well folks, we’ve survived another leap in the Wonder Weeks.  Around weeks 41.5 – 46.5, babies go through another developmental phase where they learn the world of sequences, such as why cereal flies through the air! This wonder week was kind of hidden due to travel, teething and his first minor illness, so I didn’tContinue Reading
