It’s time for another Top Five Friday Favorites! I have lots of things making me smile this week, but below you will find a few highlights.
There was also a new podcast up today!
Aiden, Otis and I are in Nebraska at grandma’s house until Saturday morning and then that afternoon we have a birth class reunion – 1st birthday celebration in Denver. I also get to see my sister and Dave overnight on Sunday night. Spring is also on the horizon and needless to say, I’m excited for this weekend!
My mom showed me this recipe and said it was right up my alley. I totally agree. I love jam, chia seeds, blackberries and in this recipe, there is no need for canning. Did you know that chia seeds are a great super food with protein, omega fatty acids, carbs, antioxidants and calcium? Woop woop.
I think this herb garden is adorable! I love the rustic look with the distressed wood and chic mason jars. Maybe my black thumb will turn green this summer when David and I plant our herb garden. Wishful thinking?
These were featured on Shark Tank and I’ve seen them tons of places since. I think they are the cutest baby shoes I’ve ever seen and I’ve heard that they stay on baby feet wonderfully. However, I really cannot justify spending $60 for a pair of these babies.
I have loved Jillian Michaels for the past 10 years – I’ve listened to her podcast, watched Biggest Loser and now attended her new Maximize Your Life Tour. I really appreciate her brutal honesty because she does it out of a good place in her heart. I think she genuinely cares about people and wants them to reach their potential, so she pushes them to uncomfortable places to dig deep. I admire her.
These shirts are the softest shirts ever. I wish they made them in my size because I would own lots of them! My sister bought Aiden three of them for last summer and now she bought him two more this year and I can’t wait to put them on him again! They are also really cute, but slightly pricey for baby clothes.
And that’s a wrap.
What do you think of Jillian Michaels?
Would you spend $60 on baby shoes?
Do you have a green thumb or black thumb like me?
