Ai yi yi… this week was a doozy. We have hit the 2nd to last Wonder Week in full force as well as full-on teething, so sleep has been a thing of the past again. I was so excited a couple weeks ago when Aiden slept through the night and now here we are again waking 5 times a night.
Anyways, it was marathon Monday this week and an American won, so that was a definite highlight! I always love hearing stories from that day and this year was no different.
This story – How Ryan Hall Helped Meb Win The Boston Marathon – is an awesome read about camaraderie and the spirit of the marathon.
Iscarf is an e-commerce site selling cute infinity scarves in either adult or child sizes that was started by two little girls – aged 12 and 9! They are little rockstars. They just launched and are offering a promo code for three FREE scarves! All you do is pay $13.99 for shipping. I ordered some and I can’t wait to see them! USE CODE: HDS30
Veggie Pancakes – Toddler Approved. I’ve been looking for both new meals for Aiden and sneaky ways to hide more veggies in his food and this accomplishes both. It tastes like a hash and is very good. Aiden agreed too!
Artifact Uprising Photobooks. These books take photo books to the next level in my opinion. I’ve used Shutterfly several times to make books and they are nice and easy to use, but these are like art. They are beautiful coffee table books personalized to your family. I really want to make one!
Gluten-Free, Vegan Banana Pudding. My mom and I made this recipe last weekend and it did not disappoint. I’ve mentioned before how much I love banana pudding, but haven’t had any for a long time due to not eating gluten and dairy. This was so good – Aiden and I demolished it!
There you have it for the week.
I hope this weekend is relaxing and we get some sleep, so we can feel rejuvenated for next week.
Did you watch the Boston Marathon?
What are you doing this weekend?
I know I’m opening a can of worms – but what’s your best advice to get your child to go back to sleep in the middle of the night?!
